Frequently Asked Questions for Injured Workers

Can I choose my own doctor for a workplace injury?

It depends on your state. In Missouri, employers usually choose the doctor—but that doesn’t mean you can’t get an independent evaluation. That’s where I help.

Why was my workers comp claim denied?

Common reasons include lack of documentation, unclear cause of injury, or pre-existing conditions. I can help clarify your case and build medical support for your claim.

What is an Independent Medical Examiner?

An Independent Medical Examiner (IME) provides an impartial medical opinion on your injury. I offer expert, unbiased evaluations that can support your legal case.

What’s the difference between your $250 and $1,500 services?

The $250 Tier includes a one-hour consult and follow-up plan. The $1,500 Tier gives you 90 days of support, priority response, document review, and attorney referrals.

Do I need a lawyer for my workers comp claim?

Not always, but in complex or denied claims, having a strong lawyer (plus expert medical support) can increase your compensation significantly.

Frequently Asked Questions for Attorneys

How fast can you deliver an IME report or causation opinion?

Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days after receiving records. Expedited service is available upon request.

Are you available for deposition and trial appearances?

Absolutely. I offer in-depth prep and clear, defensible testimony. See deposition and court appearance rates in the expert witness section.

Do you work nationwide?

Yes, I offer nationwide services for legal teams. All consultations and IMEs can be done via secure video or at designated facilities.

Are your services covered by insurance?

No. These are private, expert services designed to strengthen claims—not primary care or treatment.
